… well, this is what showed up when we were trick-or-treating. 🙄
I can’t be upset, though, because a rainbow requires sunshine — which managed to poke through the clouds as the rain departed. We only had a little light rain for the first 10ish minutes that we were out. Yes, it was a brisk evening, but not sopping wet.
CMH’s rainfall for this event was 0.74”. Many places around town got between that and an inch.

🤫 Quiet start to November
After yesterday’s lovely weather, we’re embarking on a reasonably decent run going into the first week of November.
Today should be one of those days when the morning has sunshine but more clouds bubble up for the afternoon. We’ll still have a bit of a breeze, too.
The primary American forecast model shows very little happening in our neck of the woods over the next week. A weak disturbance passes through the region this weekend with little fanfare… maybe a 10% chance of a shower. Another system passes through the Great Lakes shortly thereafter, but should be far enough north that we stay dry here.
Highs will slowly rise over the coming days, generally in the 55 to 60-degree range. That’s pretty typical for this time of year.
